The currently available Kumbh Mela Plan lists a ceremonial opening (Dhwajarohan) on 31 October 2026 and three main bathing dates in August and September 2027, with a closing period in July 2028.
What ‘interim’ means
The plan has not been formally notified. Until it is, every date on this website carries the label “Published in interim plan – confirmation pending”.
How we update
When an official notification is published, our Event Manager will update each date with its source link and change its status to Verified. The last-updated date is shown on every entry.
Where to check
See the Kumbh Dates page and our Official Information Links for the responsible authorities.
